Job summary

Temasek Polytechnic is seeking a Senior Manager (Platforms & Automation) within IT & Services to lead operations, automation and governance of enterprise platforms such as Azure, AWS, M365, GCC, and cloud workloads.

You will drive observability, automate provisioning and deployments, manage vendor relationships, and steer projects that enhance the digital workplace across on-premises and cloud environments. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 10+ years IT experience.
• 5+ years with Azure/AWS platforms in automation and observability.
• 3+ years in a team management role.
• CNPA/CNPE certifications are an advantage.
• Proficient in Terraform or equivalent (Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience in project delivery and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and maintenance of enterprise IT platforms, ensuring high availability and minimal service disruption.
• Drive adoption, governance and observability of platforms including M365, GCC, Azure, AWS and Google Workspace.
• Collaborate with teams to enable efficient application delivery with automated workflows and standardized pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with policies, manage audits and vendor performance; oversee contracts and risk.
• Initiate and drive projects to enhance Temasek Polytechnic’s digital workplace across on-premises and cloud.
• Lead platform, automation and vendor teams; monitor performance and coach staff.
• Represent Temasek Polytechnic in Joint IHL initiatives and cross-institutional projects.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure policy adherence, manage major incidents and contribute to IT roadmap.
