Job summary

Temasek Polytechnic seeks a Deputy Manager for Security & Platform Reliability Engineering to oversee security posture across on‑premises and cloud IT infrastructure, including government monitoring services. You will drive incident response, implement IaC, and collaborate with the security team on SIEM alerts and security hygiene reviews.

The role requires 5+ years in platform reliability and infrastructure security, with strong communication skills and certifications in CISSP/CEH/AWS/Azure

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in platform reliability engineering and infrastructure security operations.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, AWS, Azure or similar are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security posture and system hardening for on-premises and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Develop scripts and IaC to improve efficiency and recovery times.
• Coordinate with internal security teams on alerts from SIEM, GCSOC, and ABLR.
• Ensure compliance with CIS, NIST and Government guidelines.
