Job summary

GREEN RECYCLING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive operations professional to drive productivity in incinerator operations, oversee a full maintenance schedule, and troubleshoot equipment issues.

The role includes coordinating with engineering, maintenance teams, and contractors to ensure safety and compliance. Training and continuous improvement are emphasized. The incumbent will ensure adherence to safety standards, manage spares and procurement, and collaborate across departments

Responsibilities

• Productivity Enhancement: Optimise incinerator operations to increase efficiency and throughput; coordinate with engineering to improve plant efficiencies and synergies.
• Plant Maintenance: Develop and oversee a maintenance schedule; coordinate inspections, preventive tasks, and spare parts procurement; liaise with maintenance & engineering and contractors for projects.
• Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve operational issues; collaborate with engineers and technicians on complex repairs; maintain records of repairs and modifications.
• Safety, Environment and Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with safety regulations; conduct safety audits and drills; train on safe operation; maintain CEMS and NEA emission standards; liaise with authorities to close findings.
• Team Collaboration and Training: Work with boiler operators and engineers to enhance skills; conduct training sessions; foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.
• Other Responsibilities: Monitor daily activities to ensure SOPs and safety requirements are followed; review SOPs and MOS to enhance safety and throughput; coordinate with internal/external parties for projects; control operation and maintenance costs; handle ad hoc duties; uphold safety responsibilities.

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Productivity Enhancement

Optimise incinerator operations to increase efficiency and through put. Implement best practices for waste processing and resource management. Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement. To coordinate engineering works to improve plant and company efficiencies and synergies

2. Plant Maintenance

Develop and oversee a comprehensive maintenance schedule. Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement. To coordinate with maintenance & engineering department and contractor for attending the respective project/maintenance/repair works. Sourcing materials, contractors & spares purchasing and delivery.

3. Repair and Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve operational issues promptly. Collaborate withengineers and technicians on complex repairs. Maintain detailed recordsof repairs and modifications.

4. Safety, Environment and Compliance Management

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.Conduct regular safety audits and drills. Provide training and guidance on safe operation procedures for night and day shifts. Maintain CEMS and Comply with NEA flue gas emission standards and requirements. To liaise with all government authorities to close findings and improvement work. Responsible for plant safety and housekeeping.

5. Team Collaboration and Training

Work closely with boiler operators and engineers to enhance their skills. Conduct training sessions to improve operational knowledge.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.

6. Other Responsibilities:

1. To check on daily activities, making sure all personnel follow SOP, checklist and safety requirements.
2. To prepare and review process/activity SOP and MOS from time to time to further enhance safety and increase throughput.
3. Liaise with internal departments and external party for new projects execution
4. Operation and maintenance cost control
5. Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by Assistant Operation Manager
6. To hold safety responsibilities for the role and report any unsafe situation
