Job summary

hudsonmanpower is seeking an experienced Machining Shop Skilled Worker in Singapore to operate Plano Milling Machine and Horizontal Boring Machine for large, heavy components as per engineering drawings and production needs.

The role requires setting up fixtures, tools, and performing milling, boring, facing, drilling, and precision operations with strict tolerance control and high surface finish standards. Safety and quality compliance are essential, with FAT benefits included.

Qualifications

• ITI Machinist certification required.
• Milling Machine Certification required.
• Minimum 6–8 years of Plano Miller & HBM operations.
• Experience machining large and heavy components.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and maintain tight tolerances.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate Plano Miller and HBM machines independently.
• Set up large workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools.
• Perform milling, boring, facing, drilling, and precision machining operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and required surface finish.
• Inspect components using measuring instruments.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
