Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a Senior Planner I (Materials) in Singapore to manage daily material requirements, ensuring 100% production uptime. The role focuses on optimizing parts availability, tracking logistics, and reducing E&O while aligning with customer requirements and ERP integrity.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electronics manufacturing with strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in MRP systems, Kinaxis RR, and Oracle.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business Studies or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Electronics Manufacturing industry or related field.
• Knowledge of MRP, Kinaxis RR and Oracle preferred.
• Knowledge of Materials Planning and Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong business acumen and analytical mind with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assured materials are purchased per Sanmina's end customers requirements.
• Support the account team in meeting targets by managing daily material requirements and ensuring 100% production uptime.
• Monitor part availability and logistics tracking to prevent bottlenecks, ensuring the right part is at the right place at the right time.
• Manage E&O (Excess & Obsolescence) by identifying surplus and minimizing financial waste.
• Execute purchase orders in alignment with customer requirements, maintaining data integrity in ERP.
• Utilize AI-tools to automate routine reporting and identify supply risks before they impact production.
• Identify manual paper-trail tasks that can be streamlined through automation or digital workflows.
• Lead the resolution of critical supply chain issues and support junior planners on escalations.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Assured materials are purchased per Sanmina's end customers requirements.
• Support the account team in meeting corporate targets by managing daily material requirements and ensuring 100% production uptime.
• Monitor part availability and logistics tracking to prevent bottlenecks, ensuring the right part is at the right place at the right time.
• Managing E&O (Excess & Obsolescence) by identifying surplus early and utilizing data-driven insights to minimize financial waste.
• Execute purchase orders in strict alignment with customer requirements, maintaining high data integrity within the ERP system.
• Utilize AI-tools to automate routine reporting and identify supply risks before they impact production.
• Actively identify manual paper-trail tasks that can be streamlined through automation or digital workflows.
• Lead the resolution of critical supply chain issues and serve as a technical advisor to junior planners, empowering them through expert support on escalations and decision-making
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Electronics Manufacturing industry or in related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP and RR (Kinaxis) and Oracle is preferred.
• Knowledge of Materials Planning and Supply Chain is preferred.
