Job summary

Sanmina-SCI Systems Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Planner I (Materials) to lead materials planning and procurement activities for electronics manufacturing. You will manage daily material requirements, monitor part availability, and drive uptime while minimizing waste through data-driven insights.

The role requires 5+ years in electronics manufacturing or related fields, strong MRP/Kinaxis/Oracle knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Electronics Manufacturing industry or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP and RR (Kinaxis) and Oracle preferred.
• Knowledge of Materials Planning and Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong business acumen and analytical mind with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assured materials are purchased per Sanmina’s end customers requirements.
• Support the account team in meeting corporate targets by managing daily material requirements and ensuring 100% production uptime.
• Monitor part availability and logistics tracking to prevent bottlenecks, ensuring the right part is at the right place at the right time.
• Managing E&O (Excess & Obsolescence) by identifying surplus early and utilizing data-driven insights to minimize financial waste.
• Execute purchase orders in alignment with customer requirements, maintaining high data integrity within the ERP system.
• Utilize AI-tools to automate routine reporting and identify supply risks before they impact production.
• Identify manual paper-trail tasks that can be streamlined through automation or digital workflows.
• Lead the resolution of critical supply chain issues and serve as a technical advisor to junior planners, empowering them through expert support on escalations and decision-making.
• Any other duties as assigned.
