Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive Planner to drive walking-focused policy development and planning initiatives. You will develop long-term walking strategies and planning frameworks, and contribute to the National Walking Masterplan to improve pedestrian networks and walkability across Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Economics, Geography, Engineering System Design, Transport Engineering, Transport Planning, Town/Urban Planning, or related discipline.
• Experience in urban and transport planning, policy development or infrastructure planning.
• Walkability, pedestrian planning and accessibility knowledge an advantage.
• Experience in land use planning, transport planning and transport modelling techniques, and knowledge of pedestrian and cyclist demand modelling tools.
• Strong analytical, communication and report writing skills.
• Knowledge of Microstation/AutoCAD/ArcGIS Pro, spatial analysis or data analysis is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term walking strategies, policies and planning frameworks.
• Contribute to Singapore's National Walking Masterplan and walking-related policies.
• Review and develop planning guidance to support safe, direct, comfortable and inclusive walking environments.
• Harmonise walking standards with internal divisions and government agencies.
• Conduct policy and planning studies, analyse data and international best practices.
