Qualifikationen

• MOH/AHPC recognised degree required.
• AHPC practising certificate/registration is mandatory.
• Post‑graduate qualification or relevant certification is an advantage but not essential.
• Membership with the Singapore Physiotherapy Association encouraged.

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate patients’ mobility, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and review individualized treatment plans to maximise rehabilitation potential and quality of life.
• Provide physiotherapy interventions including exercises, gait and balance training, manual therapy, airway clearance techniques, and modalities.
• Prescribe and recommend appropriate assistive devices and mobility aids.
• Educate patients, caregivers and family on rehabilitation goals and plans.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care, discharge planning, and outcomes.
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior physiotherapists, therapy aides, students, and registrants.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement, staff training, and departmental projects.
• Lead rehabilitation services including outpatient, therapy aide, and nursing home operations.

• Ensure compliance with professional standards, hospital policies, patient confidentiality, and workplace safety requirements.
• Be responsible for recognising potential risks related to the role and actively support Ren Ci Hospital’s efforts to manage risks effectively.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy recognised by the Ministry of Health (MOH) / Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Registered with the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) with a valid practising certificate
• Post‑graduate qualification or relevant certification is an advantage but not essential
• Membership with the Singapore Physiotherapy Association is highly encouraged
• Experience in a geriatric community hospital, long‑term care, or nursing home setting is an advantage
