Job summary

ANGSANA MOLECULAR AND DIAGNOSTICS LABORATORY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced phlebotomy supervisor to lead a team of phlebotomists across multiple sites in Singapore. You will oversee venipuncture procedures, staff deployment, and training to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires at least 5 years of phlebotomy experience and 3 years of supervisory leadership, with strong SOP knowledge and excellent communication skills. Travel between sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years phlebotomy experience.
• Supervisory experience of at least 3 years.
• Ability to travel between sites.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy SOPs and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary and heel pricks as requested by clinicians.
• Manage a team of phlebotomists: manpower deployment, scheduling and administration.
• Conduct training, mentoring junior staff and skills assessments.
• Investigate feedback cases.
• Monitor consumables inventory used by the team.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by management.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Responsible for performing venipuncture, capillary and/or heel pricks professionally as requested by clinicians.
• Managing a team of phlebotomists - manpower deployment, scheduling, technical and administration matters.
• Conduct training, mentoring junior staff and skills assessment for review.
• Conduct investigation on feedback cases.
• Assist in monitoring and managing consumables inventory utilized by the team.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the management.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate in Phlebotomy and/or recognized diploma in Nursing
• At least 5 years phlebotomy experience
• Must be able to travel between sites and main laboratory
• At least 3 years supervisory experience in a similar industry
• Good knowledge in phlebotomist's SOP and best practices
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as a team
