Job summary

KK Women's and Children's Hospital Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Pharmacist to manage the full spectrum of hospital pharmacy operations, including supervising technicians and assistants and delivering patient-centered care to women and paediatric patients.

You will counsel patients, verify medication orders, dispense medications, and may participate in cytotoxic dispensing and research. You will also handle enquiries from healthcare professionals and the public.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of pharmacy operations and management.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants.
• Provide patient-oriented services including counselling, medication order verification, and dispensing.

Job Description

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of pharmacy operations and management.Your duties include supervising pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants, providing patient-oriented services to our women and paediatric patients. These include patient counselling, verification of medication orders, supply of medications and specialized counseling. You may also be involved in research, dispensing of cytotoxic drugs as well as other operational or clinical pharmacy services.In addition, you are expected to attend to enquiries from healthcare professionals and members of the public.
