Job summary

National University Polyclinics seeks an experienced perioperative scrub nurse to lead comprehensive nursing care across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative stages. You will ensure safe surgical outcomes, operational excellence, and high-quality patient care within the operating theatre.

The role requires nursing qualification with valid registration and at least 4 years of theatre experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree or diploma.
• Must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• At least 4 years of operating theatre experience (scrub nurse) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements protective measures to prevent injury due to chemical, electrical, laser, mechanical, radiation, and thermal sources.
• Transports the patient according to individual needs and monitors for signs of skin and tissue injury during transfer.
• Prepares, applies, and removes devices to enhance operative exposure and protect the patient’s body.
