Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced peri-operative nurse to join our surgical team. You will provide comprehensive nursing care across the operative period and collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and the broader team.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, SNB Practising Certificate, and a minimum of 3 years OR experience, with Post-Basic/Advanced Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing as an advantage. Shift duties apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Post-Basic/Advanced Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide peri-operative nursing care before, during and after surgery.
• Assess, plan and evaluate patient care to ensure safe surgical outcomes.
• Perform circulating and scrub nursing duties in the Operating Room.
• Handle and maintain specialized surgical equipment while ensuring proper sterilisation and traceability.
• Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and the multidisciplinary team.
• Support clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and the training of junior nurses.
