Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in engineering or related field.
• Hands-on semiconductor equipment installation, startup, maintenance, and qualification experience.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams on equipment improvements.
• Knowledge of vacuum, RF, gas delivery, abatement, thermal, robotics, and chamber systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support equipment development for PCVD platforms and enabling technologies.
• Perform hands-on characterization, experiments, and learning plans to evaluate capability and reliability.
• Analyze equipment data to identify improvement opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Develop hardware modifications to improve performance, reliability, and cost of ownership.
• Support equipment build, installation, startup, qualification, and technology transfer at sites.
• Troubleshoot complex issues with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, facilities, process engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Manage engineering changes including design reviews and validation plans.
• Develop roadmaps and CIP projects to advance toolsets for HVM readiness.
• Improve reliability and productivity through structured methods and hands-on execution.
