Job summary

Saksoft is seeking a Senior Patch Management Executive to lead enterprise patch and vulnerability management across Windows, Linux, Unix, databases, and cloud platforms. You will drive governance of changes and coordinate deployments to minimize risk and ensure service continuity.

You will partner with Cyber Security teams, drive automation using orchestration and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, and oversee audit, vendor management, incident response, and recovery related to patch initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT infrastructure experience with patch management and change governance.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments (banking/financial services).
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Linux, cloud, and patching tools (SCCM, BigFix, Chef, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide patch and vulnerability management programs across Windows, Linux, Unix, database, and cloud platforms.
• Govern change reviews, risk assessments, testing, implementation, and rollback planning for infrastructure updates.
• Coordinate patch deployments across complex, interconnected systems while ensuring service availability and compliance.
• Drive automation initiatives using orchestration and Infrastructure-as-Code tools to improve efficiency and reduce deployment risks.
• Partner with Cyber Security teams to prioritize vulnerability remediation and manage security risks.
• Lead incident response and recovery activities related to patch implementations.
• Act as the primary stakeholder liaison for audit, compliance, vendor management, and executive reporting.
