Job summary

Hatch Asia is seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer to support the Engineering Team for projects at base and site locations. You will set up and maintain HD/UHD video, audio, RF and related equipment, troubleshoot faults, and produce project documentation to ensure seamless live production delivery.

The role requires familiarity with Routers, Switchers, Tally Systems, Multiviewers and EVS gear, plus IP networking knowledge. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in broadcast television.
• Familiar with the operation and programming of Routers, Switchers, Tally Systems, Multiviewers, etc.
• Familiar with the setup and integration of cameras, lenses, CCUs etc.
• Experience with EVS equipment including LSM, X-File, X-Hub, IP Director.
• An understanding of radio, television, and the associated transmission and carrier systems.

Responsibilities

• To assist Engineering Team in providing technical support services.
• Set up, configure, operate and maintain electronic equipment involved in outside broadcasting production.
• Troubleshoot broadcasting equipment and report faults.
• Prepare Engineering Book for each project with relevant technical information.
• Ensure broadcast equipment and systems run at the Project site.
• Draft technical reports of field work.
• Attend technical meetings for projects as necessary.
