Percept Solutions Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Audio-Visual Engineer to support live events, broadcasts, live streaming, and hybrid productions.

You will operate and maintain integrated AV systems to deliver reliable productions across multiple venues. The role covers camera operation, video switching, streaming setup with platforms like YouTube and Facebook, networked AV systems, and preventive maintenance.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Broadcast Engineering, Media, AV Technology or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant live AV production or broadcast experience.
• Proven experience supporting live streaming and hybrid production workflows.
• Hands-on with digital audio consoles (DiGiCo, Yamaha, Allen & Heath).
• Experience operating video switchers (Blackmagic ATEM, Ross).
• Familiarity with streaming/tools (LiveU, OBS Studio, ProPresenter).
• Understanding of signal flow, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
• Basic IT and networking troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate cameras, switchers, routers, LED walls, and projection systems.
• Manage multi-camera workflows for live, in-house, and broadcast productions.
• Configure and monitor streaming for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, TikTok.
• Troubleshoot RTMP/SRT streams and ensure quality and stability.
• Support AV systems integration across SDI, HDMI, Dante, NDI, IP networks.
• Perform equipment checks, rehearsals, and post-production shutdowns.
• Prepare technical documentation and SOPs; coordinate with teams and vendors.

We are seeking an Audio-Visual Engineer to support live events, broadcasts, live streaming, and hybrid productions. The successful candidate will operate and maintain integrated AV systems, deliver reliable productions, and support technical improvements across multiple locations.

Live Production:

• Set up, configure, and operate cameras, video switchers, routers, LED walls, projection systems, and signal distribution equipment.
• Manage multi-camera workflows for live, in-house, and broadcast productions.
• Ensure correct video signal routing, resolution, frame synchronisation, and display settings.
• Operate or support video switching, broadcast audio mixing, and media playback during live productions.

Live Streaming & Broadcast:

• Set up and operate AV systems for live-streamed events and hybrid productions.
• Configure streaming platforms, software, and hardware encoders, including YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, TikTok, and LiveU.
• Configure and troubleshoot RTMP and SRT streaming workflows.
• Monitor stream quality, audio-video synchronisation, latency, bitrate, and network stability.
• Troubleshoot streaming issues in real time and implement backup and redundancy measures.
• Support broadcast connectivity and content distribution across multiple venues.
• Review platform analytics and streaming performance to identify improvements.

AV Systems & Integration:

• Support integrated audio, video, lighting interfaces, LED walls, and projection systems.
• Manage signal routing across SDI, HDMI, Dante, NDI, and IP-based systems.
• Coordinate dedicated broadcast audio workflows separately from front-of-house audio where required.
• Assist with system design reviews, equipment upgrades, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve integration issues.

Operations & Maintenance:

• Conduct equipment checks, rehearsals, and system testing before productions.
• Perform post-production shutdowns and ensure equipment is stored safely.
• Troubleshoot technical faults during live events and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain equipment, firmware, configuration backups, and spare equipment.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and signal-flow diagrams.
• Coordinate with production, IT, content, and event teams to deliver consistent production standards.
• Safely lift, carry, and position AV equipment as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Audio Engineering, Broadcast Engineering, Media, AV Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in live AV production or broadcast environments.
• Proven experience supporting live streaming and hybrid production workflows.
• Hands-on experience with digital audio consoles, such as DiGiCo, Yamaha, or Allen & Heath.
• Experience operating video switchers, such as Blackmagic Design ATEM or Ross.
• Familiarity with streaming, encoding, and presentation tools such as LiveU, OBS Studio, Wirecast, and ProPresenter.
• Understanding of audio and video signal flow, synchronisation, and troubleshooting.
• Basic IT and networking troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively under pressure during live productions.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays according to production schedules.

Added Advantage:

• Experience supporting live events across multiple venues.
• Knowledge of Dante, NDI, SMPTE standards, Precision Time Protocol (PTP), and IP networking.
• Experience with LED wall processors and media servers.
• Experience implementing backup systems and broadcast redundancy workflows.
