Precious Active Ageing Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Befriending Support Assistant to work with socially isolated seniors. You will assist the Centre Manager to ensure quality Befriending services by conducting outreach, home visits, and organizing client activities.

Responsibilities include regular outreach to identified blocks, recruitment and training of befriending volunteers, and mentoring senior volunteers to spot early signs of neglect, loneliness, or depression.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma with 1-2 years experience in an Eldercare setting/Community Care.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Meticulous and observant with attention to seniors' needs.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular outreach to seniors in identified blocks.
• Assist in community assets mapping (blocks, services).
• Assist in outreach events (door-knocking, needs assessment, info-sharing).
• Perform befriending duties.
• Conduct home visits and track status of seniors; organize activities with clients.
• Recruit and train befriending volunteers.
• Mentor senior volunteers to spot early signs of neglect, loneliness, or depression.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Centre Manager.
