Job summary

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree required (Bachelor's preferred).
• 3+ years in customer order management, account management or supply chain.
• 3+ years in Customer Service Operations.
• Team-focused and passionate about customer support.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail with fast, accurate data entry.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience navigating order processing or analytics systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Owns full order life cycle for assigned customer accounts to ensure on-time shipment.
• Acts as single point of contact between customers, distribution centers, plants, and cross-functional teams.
• Resolves complex inquiries with research and knowledge of Cummins processes.
• Escalates issues when needed and documents steps taken.
• Maintains accurate records of all interactions in the system.
• Ensures compliance with export policies and necessary documentation.
• Coordinates with aftermarket/manufacturing for quality issues and NCRs.
• Supports supervisors by hosting customer visits at the local facility.
• Coaches teammates on Customer Order Management policies and metrics.
• Leads departmental goals to drive proactive customer support.
