Job summary

Ascend Eye Clinic in Singapore is seeking an Optometrist to assess eye health, prescribe vision correction, and operate advanced diagnostics. You’ll support patients through treatment and surgery journeys while handling clinical and administrative tasks.

Open to experienced optometrists and pre-registration candidates with mentorship, the role offers broad clinical exposure, flexible arrangements, and a structured training program in a private hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Optometry.
• Pre-registration candidates welcome with mentorship and training.
• Proactive, responsible team player with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take clinical histories from patients.
• Perform eye screening examinations with diagnostic equipment.
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses.
• Educate patients on optical aids and eye health.
• Counsel patients before and after surgery.
• Handle counter and administrative duties, including LOG and insurance claims.
