Job summary

Jobtailor in Singapore seeks a skilled Manufacturing Operator to run station tasks, operate DCS consoles, and maintain EHSS standards. Fresh graduates are welcome and forklift license is a plus.

You will coordinate daily production, complete quality paperwork, and support engineering, QA, and maintenance activities. Rotating shifts and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Min. GCE N/O, NITEC or equivalent.
• 1–2 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (compounding operation).
• Fresh graduate welcome to apply.
• Able to operate DCS consoles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Strong adherence to EHSS requirements.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Forklift Driver License preferred.
• Able to perform rotating shift work.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and perform tasks at workstations per SOPs and safety risk assessments.
• Coordinate and execute hands-on production tasks to meet daily output targets; transport materials safely.
• Complete quality-related checklists and ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Support production, process, maintenance, QA and project engineering activities as needed.
• Lead and deploy resources within the station and during plant shutdowns.
• Develop and update SOPs, SRAs and training materials when needed.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement on EHSS, cost, quality and yield.
• Participate in EHSS activities including risk assessments and committee meetings.
• Ensure housekeeping and compliance with local regulations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine and carry out the required tasks at the workstations according to the established operating procedures and safety risk assessment
• Coordinates and execute hands‑on physical production task to meet daily output targets. E.g. Safely operate reach trucks and forklifts to transport raw materials, staging components, mixing blending and packaging of finished goods
• Ensure all necessary paperwork (eg: quality related checklist) for the station are completed
• Ensure the product quality is within the specification at all times
• Support production, process, maintenance, QA and project engineering activities as needed.
• Support plant activities as required by Management
• Monitor the production supply required in the station and alert when necessary
• Lead problem‑solving within the station
• Conduct on‑the‑job training for new technicians and complete all required certification forms as and when required by the company
• Lead & Deploy resources within the station and during plant shut down period
• Develop and update SOP, SRA and other training materials when needed
• Identify opportunities and work with other teams to drive continuous improvement on EHSS, cost saving, quality and/or yield
• Actively participate in EHSS activities including Concern reporting, Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) Review and EHSS committee meeting participation
• Conform to local regulations and SHEM
• Ensure housekeeping of the work area

Requirements

• Min. GCE “N”, GCE “O”, NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent
• Preferably minimum 1 to 2 years of hands‑on experience in Manufacturing environment Compounding operation
• Fresh graduate is welcome apply
• Able to control DCS consoles
• Good communication skills (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate good trouble shooting and analytical skills
• Independently Strong adherence to EHSS requirements
• Good knowledge in MS Software (Excel)
• Preferably with Forklift Driver License
• Able to perform rotating shift work
