Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior Technical Safety Engineer to support offshore Oil & Gas engineering projects in Singapore. You will execute safety activities, develop deliverables, and lead risk assessments across the project lifecycle.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with vendors and clients, and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. A strong background in fire protection, ESD, and hazard analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Safety Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in Technical Safety within oil & gas, energy or major industrial sectors.
• At least 5 years in a Senior Technical Safety Engineer or equivalent role.
• Experience on offshore and/or onshore facilities, including fixed and floating installations.
• Development and implementation of Fire and Gas Detection Systems, ESD and Human Factors.

Responsibilities

• Execute Technical Safety activities per project requirements, procedures and standards.
• Develop and review Technical Safety deliverables across the project lifecycle.
• Support multidisciplinary teams with Technical Safety input and reviews.
• Lead safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, ALARP and fire/explosion analyses.
• Coordinate safety deliverables with project schedules and stakeholders.
