Job summary

ROYAL OCEAN MARINE ENTERPRISE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Lead Mechanical and Piping Engineer to oversee engineering activities across project execution for offshore and marine vessels.

You will plan, review, and approve deliverables, coordinate system design, manage vendors, and ensure compliance with industry codes and regulatory requirements. This role also supports proposals, planning, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Mechanical and Piping engineering activities throughout project execution.
• Plan, review, and approve engineering deliverables including specifications, datasheets, calculations, reports, material requisitions, and drawings.
• Coordinate mechanical and piping system design for offshore and marine vessels projects.
• Manage vendor packages, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews.
• Coordinate with clients, shipyards, vendors, subcontractors, classification societies, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and classification requirements.
• Support proposal preparation, technical studies, engineering estimates, and project planning activities.
• Manage engineering resources, schedules, budgets, and project risks.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability reviews, FAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers.
• Support site surveys, inspections, construction support, and project handover activities.
