Job summary

Seatrium Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to develop offshore HVDC/HVAC platform electrical architectures during Concept Select and FEED phases. You will lead system-level design for offshore substations, ensure interface with grid operators, and deliver FEED documents including SLDs, protection philosophies, and studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in high voltage electrical systems engineering, with offshore substations exposure.
• Experience in Concept Select and FEED for offshore substations and electrical philosophies.

Responsibilities

• Develop offshore HVAC/HVDC electrical system concepts and define overall platform electrical architecture during Concept Select and FEED.
• Perform system-level design for offshore HVDC/HVAC substations, including power generation/distribution philosophy and redundancy.
• Design HV, MV, and LV electrical systems for offshore substations and converter platforms.
• Prepare FEED deliverables including SLDs, protection philosophies, load lists, and short circuit studies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary integration across electrical, control, telecom, mechanical, HVAC, safety, and structural disciplines.
