Job summary

SPD in Singapore seeks an Occupational Therapist to assess, develop, and implement therapy plans for clients with mobility and functional challenges. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to caregivers.

You will refer clients to specialists as needed and may conduct home, school, or workplace visits to support client outcomes. AHPC registration eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) recognised by AHPC.
• Eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist under the Allied Health Professions Act 2011.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in local languages will be an advantage.
• A team player with a heart for serving in the social service sector and supporting people with disability.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions for clients with physical, functional, or mobility difficulties.
• Collaborate with clients on a one-to-one basis, in groups, or in special settings per programme requirements.
• Monitor clients’ progress, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and review needs.
• Provide OT consultation and updates to caregivers and the care team.
• Refer clients to specialists when necessary; conduct home/school/workplace visits when required.
