SingHealth Community Hospitals is seeking an Occupational Therapist with supervisory responsibilities to oversee a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver OT services to patients for optimal recovery and educate caregivers on care requirements.

The role requires current Allied Health Professions Council registration, and the ability to work well both independently and within a team. A senior position may consider candidate with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor or Master in Occupational Therapy.
• Full registration with Allied Health Professions Council.
• 1 year supervisory experience may be considered for senior position.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; able to work independently and in groups.

Job description:

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patients with a seamless delivery of care which is of high-quality, safe and cost-efficient. You will provide occupational therapy services to patients for their optimal recovery and you will also educate their caregivers about condition and care. You will manage a team and be in-charge of developing the team's competencies and distribution of workload.

Job Requirements

• Diploma* in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor/Master in Occupational Therapy * [A-level entry diploma accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy]
• Relevant years of experience as Occupational Therapist with 1 year of supervisory experience may be considered for a Senior position
• Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
• Able to work well independently and in groups
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
