Job summary

Mount Alvernia Hospital is seeking a nursing professional to join the Day Ward team to deliver patient-centred and compassionate care. You will work with Nursing Leaders to plan, provide and evaluate care in line with doctor’s orders and hospital policies.

Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license, and willingness to work a 6‑day week with on‑call shifts. Shuttle bus and career progression support are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in nursing with valid SNB license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, provides and evaluates nursing care according to patient needs, doctor's orders and hospital policies.
• Upholds hospital nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring and infection control.
• Keeps Senior Nurse Manager informed on patient condition, treatment and outcome.
• Takes active measures to ensure patient safety and reports occurrences to Ward or Nurse Manager-on-Call.
• Works with other hospital departments to provide holistic patient care.
• Ensures accurate billing procedures.
