Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) invites applications for a New Product Introduction Product Manager to lead the Product team within the Product Engineering Organization.

You will partner with world-class engineering, test, design, quality, reliability, customer, software and platform teams to plan and drive a next-generation AMD product into production, meeting cost, yield and quality targets. This role requires strong people management, technical acumen, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product team in meeting the time to market, quality, yield and cost goals.
• Interface with cross functional teams across the world to align and drive the product KPIs to meet the business goals
• Provide leadership to the global operations teams, drive alignment among teams to achieve product requirements.
• Set goal, plan and coordinate margin improvement activities.
• Lead effort to optimize product positioning to meet business requirements
• Accountable for product leadership and reports out regularly to executives on status, decisions, and solutions to issues.
• Strong people management skills to lead, motivate, and guide world class engineers
