Qualifications

• ASNT or PCN Level III UT certification with at least one additional NDT method.
• Minimum 3 years of site experience performing UT inspections, especially on welded joints.
• Proficiency with ASME, AWS, and EN ISO NDT codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI, PAUT & PWHT technician teams to complete daily NDT assignments at job sites.
• Perform cross-checking and quality verification of completed NDT inspections.
• Develop and generate detailed test procedures for all NDT methods according to project specifications and standards.
• Conduct training sessions and provide guidance for Level 2 personnel to enhance team competency.
• Collaborate with management to undertake additional tasks and support operational goals.
• Liaise with clients to secure new projects.

Job Summary

Lead and manage NDT operation teams to execute daily inspection tasks at shipyard sites, develop test procedures, and train Level 2 personnel to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI, PAUT & PWHT technician teams to complete daily NDT assignments at job sites
• Perform cross-checking and quality verification of completed NDT inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop and generate detailed test procedures for all NDT methods according to project specifications and standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold ASNT or PCN Level III certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and at least one other NDT method
• Minimum of 3 years of site experience performing UT inspections, particularly on structural and piping welded joints
• Proficient in applying ASME, AWS, and EN ISO codes relevant to NDT inspections

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of UT inspection techniques on TKY joints
• Familiarity with advanced NDT methods such as Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Digital Radiography (DR) will be plus points
