Job summary

A-STAR OFFSHORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced NDT professional with ASNT and PCN Level III credentials to oversee technical NDT operations for clients.

The role requires familiarity with ASME and API standards and the ability to manage facilities and equipment to meet high-quality standards. The candidate will provide training for inspectors, develop NDT procedures and practice written standards, and contribute to project safety and efficiency while maintaining certification and staying current

Qualifications

• ASNT NDT Level III and PCN Level III qualifications.
• Familiarisation with ASME & API codes & standards.
• Proven ability to assume full technical responsibility for clients’ NDT facilities.
• Experience solving NDT inspection problems for clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organise NDT equipment and consumables to meet client/standards acceptance criteria.
• Provide internal training and technical guidance for inspectors.
• Develop and approve NDT procedures, written practices and techniques to high standards.
• 3p deliver engaging lessons and training materials for site personnel.
• Analyse work plans and advise on safety measures to employers.

Familiarisation of ASME & API Codes& Standards

Ability to assume full technicalresponsibility for clients’ NDT facilities.

Proven experience of providing solutions toclients’ NDT inspection related problems.

Maintain all of equipment and consumablestorage in the store room to be ready for using with good conditions underacceptance criteria specific by client or international standard.

Willingness to be flexible and multi-taskas part of a team, and contribute to company objectives.

Strongly motivated to achieve results, witha high degree of professionalism, honesty and integrity.

Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills, able to priorities workloads with competing deadlines.

Good written skills to produce courseworkand training materials, as well as clients’ NDT procedures, written practices,techniques and audit reports.

Provide internal trainiand technicalguidance for other inspectors

Ensure that all personal certification iskept up to date.

Develop and approve NDT procedures, writtenpractices and NDT techniques to a high standard that comply with clients

Creative skills to plan and deliver lessonsin a professional, positive and engaging manner.

Ensure adequate training and cross checkingthe site works, share knowledgewith team members and contribute to teamdevelopment.

To analyse work plans and projects, and aswell as recommendations of every working unit; and to give advice on safetymeasures to the employer.

Feedback on revised Equipment’s andsoftware’s for improvement.

Feedback after testing the new equipment onsite for improvement.

Extensive knowledge of own subject areawith extensive industrial NDT experience holding multiple NDT method Level IIIcertification ASNT (RT,PT,UT,MT,VT,ET) /CSWIP (PAUT/TOFD)

Preferable:

• Master's degree in NDT
