Job summary

SSM ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Technical Manager - NDT (PCN Certified) to lead inspection and QA operations. PCN Level II/III certification and strong NDT management skills are required.

You will supervise daily NDT inspections, ensure procedures meet international codes and client QA plans, and mentor technicians while coordinating with clients and auditors. This is a full-time on-site role in Singapore.

Qualifications

• PCN Level II/III certification is mandatory.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy is required.
• Minimum 5–10 years hands-on NDT experience in heavy engineering, fabrication, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills, report interpretation, leadership, and familiarity with ASME/ISO/ASTM codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day NDT inspection activities and coordinate with QA/QC.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Technical Manager - Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to lead our inspection and quality assurance operations. The ideal candidate must hold valid PCN (Personnel Certification in Non-Destructive Testing) Level II / Level III certifications and have a strong technical background in managing NDT personnel, compliance, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Operations: Manage day-to-day NDT inspection activities, coordinate with QA/QC teams, and oversee technical reports.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all testing procedures comply with international codes, client QAPs (Quality Assurance Plans), and safety standards.
• Team Supervision: Guide, mentor, and evaluate NDT technicians and Level II/III inspectors.
• Procedure Development: Review, approve, and implement NDT techniques, work instructions, and testing parameters.
• Client & Audit Coordination: Handle client interactions, third-party inspection agencies, and internal/external quality audits.

Mandatory Requirements
