Job summary
BASIL TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Network Engineer (CCNP) to plan, deploy and manage enterprise networks and data centres. You will ensure performance of systems, services and applications to meet customer and company expectations.
The role requires hands-on experience with routing, switching, security devices and network management tools, plus vendor coordination and DRP/BCP knowledge. A CCNP and 3+ years of relevant experience are essential.
Qualifications
- Degree in IT or engineering or equivalent.
- CCNP-Routing & Switching and Data Centre certification or higher.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in network and/or data centre facilities management.
- Experience with vendor management and RFQ/RFP processes.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching and network security fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage projects and deploy network solutions.
- Administer and operate networks and data centre facilities.
- Monitor performance and capacity; implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with vendors; manage RFQ/RFP processes.
- Prepare DRP and Business Continuity plans.
