Job summary

Equinix in Singapore is seeking a Network Design & Operations engineer to design, plan, and operate scalable data-center networks, leveraging AI-driven insights and automation to boost efficiency.

You will deploy hardware, validate new features, participate in testing, and drive proactive monitoring and optimization across hybrid cloud interconnections. A strong background in IP networking and coding is essential, with Python preferred for automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network Operations / Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of network architecture and operations.
• Experience in coding/automation (Python preferred).
• Interest or experience in AI-driven operations (AIOps) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploys new hardware and validates with stakeholders.
• Leverages AI tools and data analytics to identify issues.
• Participates in SIT/UAT for features and devices.
• Develops automation scripts for deployment and maintenance.
• Manages service fulfillment and proactive monitoring.
• Shapes operational resilience via chaos testing and automation.
