Job summary

Logicalis Singapore is seeking an Enterprise Senior Networking Engineer to design and deliver data centre, wireless routing & switching, and software-defined networking solutions for customers. The role sits within the Service Delivery team and involves capturing business requirements, sharing best practices, documenting the optimal design, and providing trainings.

• Diploma or degree in CS/IT or equivalent
• 5–10 years in network design and deployment
• Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
• Experience with Cisco/Aruba wireless technologies
• CCNP qualification; CCIE an advantage

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise network and security solutions.

Summary of Position

The Enterprise Senior Networking engineer is a technical implementation role who will focus on delivering Enterprise Networking Technologies Data Centre, Wireless Routing & Switching, Software Defined solutions to new and existing customers.

The position will be a critical member of the Service Delivery team who designs and builds new Infrastructure. This role will work directly with customers to capture business requirements, share best practices, make recommendations, document the optimal design, provide trainings and build the approved solution.

This role may also support business development activities by providing demos or POV for the mentioned technologies below.

Responsibilites:

• Designing and implementing network and security solutions: Responsible for designing and implementing network and security solutions for clients, which may involve configuring routers, switches, wireless, load balancers and other network devices. Racking and Stacking network devices. Expected able to handle mid-sized to mega-sized project.
• Troubleshooting network and security issues: Responsible for diagnosing and resolving network and security issues that arise for clients while deploying, which may involve investigating connectivity problems, configuration issues, and analyzing network traffic.
• Client management: Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, managing their expectations, and ensuring their needs are met.
• Collaboration with other teams: Working closely with other teams such as project managers and Operations team to ensure the network delivery is completed within the stipulated time.
• Technical Documentation: Responsible for creating technical documentation such as Low‑Level Design, TDS, As‑built, UAT and SAT documents. Signoff all the documents from clients for the project closure.
• Knowledge Transfer: Responsible for providing handover the project to Client and internal operations team.
• Provide guidance and mentorship: Conduct knowledge sharing sessions to keep the team updated on the best practices.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in network design/deployment.
• Excellent knowledge in Routing and switching, eg. BGP, OSPF, Multicast, VSS, spanning tree, MPLS L3VPN.
• Experience in wireless. Cisco WLC, Aruba, Prime, MSE/CMX, DNAC, Ekahau Site Survey tool
• Data centre technologies, eg. Cisco Nexus VDC, VPC, FEX, VXLAN, ACI.
• Good knowledge of Firewall technologies eg. IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, Cisco ASA, Firepower, Fortigate,
• Good knowledge in network access control(NAC) product, eg Aruba Clearpass Policy Manager, Cisco ISE.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Current CCNP qualified with related professional experience, CCIE would be an advantage.
