Job summary

GMP Recruitment Services (S) Pte Ltd seeks an experienced accounting professional to lead the initial setup of a new accounting software, train staff, and roll it out across offices and project sites.

You will customize financial reports to align with Japan head office formats, adapt to new financial standards, GST and income tax reporting, and collaborate with IT and external vendors for seamless integration.

Qualifications

• Polytechnic or Diploma for Accounts with 5-10 years related experience.
• Experience using Oracle NetSuite system is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the initial setup of the new accounting software and train staff; rollout to offices and project sites.
• Distribute information to users and be the point of contact with software developers and IT to resolve problems.
• Assist GM to customize financial reports to Japan head office formats and new financial-reporting standards, GST, and income tax formats.
• Assist GM to roll out integration with banks for payments and with IRAS and external vendors for InvoiceNow compliance.
• Be the point of contact with external developers with IT to resolve post go-live issues.
• Verify and input supplier and contractor invoices to ensure complete transactions for timely payments.
• Check petty cash claims, update schedules, and monitor yearly caps for staff expenses.
• Verify payment checklists and process monthly payment batches to suppliers and contractors.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to Japan head office; assist in annual audits.
