Job summary

Techwise Offshore Consultancy in Singapore seeks an experienced Naval Architect to lead engineering and marine assurance projects for offshore oil & gas and renewable energy sectors. You will deliver technical expertise, perform analyses, and guide vessel modifications.

The role requires hands-on field and on-site support at shipyards and offshore fields, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, compliance, and project success.

Qualifications

Degree in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering.
Minimum eight years of relevant experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

Perform Finite Element Analyses to assess structural integrity and support engineering decisions.
Engineer vessel modifications and upgrades to enhance performance and compliance.
Develop transportation and installation engineering solutions for offshore projects.
Conduct stability, mooring, and motion analyses to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
Execute technical reviews as Marine Warranty Surveyor to verify compliance and risk mitigation.
Provide on-site technical support at shipyards and offshore fields to resolve engineering challenges.
