Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer in Product Engineering focused on NAND Validation/Characterization. You will design and execute validation flows, implement automation, and apply AI/ML for test analytics to improve coverage and debugging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in functional and design validation for NAND technologies.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Perl scripting.
• Ability to apply AI/ML for test analytics and defect pattern analysis.
• Strong problem solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute validation flows for RG NAND devices using simulations.
• Develop deterministic tests and random sequence generators for NAND commands and features.
• Perform deep failure analysis and drive root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Implement automation frameworks to improve test development and execution efficiency using C, Python, and Perl.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to accelerate failure triage, identify coverage gaps, and improve debugging.
• Track validation progress and defect trends with data dashboards and release readiness.
