Job summary

OCBC, Singapore's longest-established bank, seeks a Cloud Support Engineer to sustain multi-cloud operations (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP). You will monitor health, troubleshoot issues, enforce security controls, and collaborate across teams to ensure service continuity in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities include incident response, runbooks creation, and supporting new cloud initiatives while maintaining high availability in a regulated banking setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP) in a multi-cloud environment.
• System administration experience; troubleshooting OS and application logs.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) to provision cloud resources.
• Knowledge of cloud architectures, HA design, and operational best practices for regulated banking environments.
• Basic familiarity with container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes) and related middleware/databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance, health, and reliability of multi-cloud infrastructure for 24/7 operations.
• Adhere to cloud security, compliance controls, and standard operating procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues; perform log analysis and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issues to resolution and continuous improvement.
• Design, implement, support, and optimize new cloud initiatives and services.
• Create runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles for 24/7 support.
