You will combine market knowledge, commercial judgment and clear communication to connect counterparties, deliver timely market information and support the desk’s growth while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and discretion.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in money broking or institutional money markets.
• Strong understanding of money market products, pricing conventions and liquidity dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions and approved institutional counterparties.
• Facilitate money market transactions, communicating pricing and terms accurately.
• Provide timely market colour on liquidity and rate movements.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to desk revenue and growth.
• Maintain transaction records and coordinate with operations on confirmations and settlements.
• Work with compliance and risk teams, upholding policies and confidentiality.
• Support junior brokers through knowledge sharing.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Money Broker to develop institutional client relationships and facilitate transactions across our money markets desk. You will combine market knowledge, commercial judgement and clear communication to connect counterparties, deliver timely market information and support the desk’s business growth. The role requires a client-focused approach, accuracy under pressure and a strong commitment to professional conduct.

Job Description

• Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions and other approved institutional counterparties.
• Facilitate money market transactions within the desk’s approved product and currency coverage, communicating pricing and terms accurately.
• Provide timely market colour on liquidity, interest rate movements and relevant market developments.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand client coverage and contribute to agreed desk revenue and growth objectives.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and coordinate with operations and support teams on confirmations, discrepancies and settlement queries.
• Work closely with compliance and risk teams, following applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and confidentiality standards.
• Support junior brokers through knowledge sharing and contribute to effective coordination across the desk.
