Job summary

kelington engineering (s) pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to manage commercial and cost aspects from tender to final account.

You will handle contract administration, procurement support, subcontract management, cost control, variations, claims, forecasting and reporting to safeguard commercial interests. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in QS/CM/CE, 5–8 years' experience in construction/EPC, and familiarity with lump sum, remeasurement and cost-reimbursable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of quantity surveying or commercial experience in construction, EPC, or engineering projects.
• Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, industrial, cleanroom, oil & gas, or data center projects preferred.
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors and project commercial administration.
• Experience with lump sum, remeasurement, and cost-reimbursable contracts.

Responsibilities

• Commercial administration of assigned projects, monitoring costs against budgets.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cost forecasts, and cash flow forecasts.
• Review contract documents and identify commercial risks.
• Maintain records for contractual matters and prepare notices/submissions.
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Prepare and present project cost reports and variations.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, procurement, finance, and planning.
