Job summary

Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in Singapore seeks an experienced social work professional to provide bio-psychosocial assessment and direct care. You will supervise medical social workers and support staff, and lead improvement projects to uphold clinical standards.

Applicants should hold a recognised social work degree (MSW/BSW or postgraduate diploma) with at least 3 years of relevant experience and SWAAB accreditation. This is a hospital-based, on-site role in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Recognised Masters of Arts, Bachelor of Arts or Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work. Master of Social Work or Bachelor of Social Work from a Recognized Institute of Higher Learning or University
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; entry level graduates are welcome to apply too
• Accreditation as Registered Social Worker with the Social Work Accreditation and Advisory Board (SWAAB) required

Responsibilities

• Provide bio-psychosocial assessment and intervention in management of patient care that meets best practices in clinical standards
• Provide specialised clinical skills in direct care
• Supervise and appraise Medical Social Workers, Executives and support staff on standards of practice delivery
