Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Singapore is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead design reviews and coordinate MEP systems for infrastructure fit-out projects. You will leverage AutoCAD, Revit and BIM platforms to ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• PE or CEng license preferred.
• 15+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for large projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360 and ACC.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, comment and align mechanical, plumbing and fire protection drawings using Client Workspace, BIM360 and 3Dx for coordination and quality.
• Attend design meetings and provide input to optimize design and reduce unnecessary work.
• Report issues and blockers to the Technical Program Manager and Lead, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide technical support for off-site manufacture and identify improvements.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to meet standards, schedules and budgets.
• Perform design studies and analyses (thermal, hydraulic, CFD) for new projects.
• Use QA/QC tools on BIM platforms to review design documents.
• Develop scope-of-works and contract deliverables.
• Escalate design issues with cross-discipline teams and ensure alignment.
• Maintain documentation, revisions and presentations on design, cost and schedule impacts.
