Job summary

The role requires a mechanical or mechatronics degree, 7+ years of experience, hands-on GD&T, DFM/DFA, ECO/ECN, PLM management, and strong problem-solving. You will drive qualification plans, BOM maintenance, and regional quality checks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics).
• 7+ years of related mechanical engineering and manufacturing process experience.
• Hands-on GD&T, DFM/DFA, and material selection.
• Experience in product qualification, validation, and reliability testing.
• Familiar with ECO/ECN, BOM, and PLM management.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction through value engineering and alternate sourcing.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify alternative materials, components, and suppliers.
• Develop and execute qualification plans with testing, validation, risk assessment, pilot builds, and FAI.
• Perform technical evaluations for fit, form, function, quality, and reliability.
• Manage End-of-Life and obsolescence programs with qualified replacements.
• Support ECO/ECN implementation and BOM maintenance.
