Job summary

Lumilens is seeking a Mechanical Product Engineer in Singapore to oversee the mechanical engineering interface and ensure manufacturing excellence for next-generation optical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of product engineering experience, focusing on DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product/manufacturing engineering for networking, servers, telecom, or consumer electronics hardware.
• Deep DFM/DFA expertise: sheet metal, die cast, plastic injection molding, extrusions.
• GD&T proficiency per ASME Y14.5; tolerance stack-up methods.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mechanical NPI execution at CM’s and Key Suppliers/Partners.
• Collaborate in material selections, interfaces, and finishes suitable for precision manufacturing.
• Lead mechanical DFM/DFA reviews on components translating design intent into manufacturable specifications.
