Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the IP2 project team for the Integrated Waste Management Facility Phase 2. You will review mechanical equipment designs and process systems, including waste handling cranes, incinerators, boilers, turbines, and flue gas treatments, ensuring technical soundness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years of relevant experience in waste-to-energy facilities preferred.
• 3+ years in mechanical or process design in related fields considered.
• Responsible, committed, resourceful, and a good team player.
• Good interpersonal communication, presentation and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate technical design submissions for mechanical equipment and process systems.
• Oversee construction and commissioning with the consultant, agencies and authorities.
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate tender proposals.
• Verify progress claims from contractors.
• Lead a technical team to ensure safe, efficient operation during commissioning and operation.
