WSP in Asia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Power Team in Singapore, undertaking a range of power plant and waste-to-energy consulting assignments across the Asia region.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in mechanical engineering and has at least 10 years of experience in the power sector, with knowledge of gas turbines, CC/CHP plants, and hydrogen applications being advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledgeable of gas turbines, CC & CHP power plants and/or waste-to-energy plants, the key technologies & components and project lifestyle considerations
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in the power sector, ideally developed within a professional services/consulting environment
• Experience with project management and project planning software tools
• Experience working with public and private sector clients in the Asia region
• Knowledge on hydrogen fuel generation and applications would be advantageous

Aufgaben

• Interface with clients providing technical advice on all aspects of power plant development including configuration options, prime equipment selection, BoP systems & components, enabling infrastructure and considerations for project implementation.
• To support clients technically through project feasibility, project appraisals, procurement evaluations, contractor/vendor engineering, project construction, commissioning, and performance testing.
• To support proposal development, drawing on WSP's regional and international network of support experts where needed.
• Manage project technical delivery requirements

PURPOSE OF THE JOBWSP is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Power Team undertaking a range of power plant and waste-to-energy consulting assignments in the Asia region. The position will be based in Singapore and at a grade to reflect to experience.

Main Responsibilities

• To interface with clients providing technical advice on all aspects of power plant development including configuration options, prime equipment selection, BoP systems & components, enabling infrastructure and considerations for project implementation.
• To support clients technically through project feasibility, project appraisals, procurement evaluations, contractor/vendor engineering, project construction, commissioning, and performance testing.
• To support proposal development, drawing on WSP's regional and international network of support experts where needed.
