Job summary

EST - HK SEA PTE. LTD. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to generate design concepts and feasibility studies for CES/CIP/R&D projects.

The role involves hands-on work in the lab and manufacturing environments to support installation and testing of designs on customer systems. You will conduct design reviews, perform rigorous analyses of wafer transfer, vacuum, temperature control, and mechanism design, and develop tooling and fixtures.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years related experience.
Strong CAD skills; CREO preferred.
Experience with robotics, vacuum, and temperature control systems.
Experience in semiconductor equipment industry helpful.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Generate mechanical design concepts and feasibility studies for new CES/CIP/R&D proposals.
Lead design reviews and contribute ideas to the discussion.
Perform engineering analysis in wafer transfer, mechanism design, and temperature control.
Develop custom tooling, fixturing, and processes for assembly and lifecycle.
Create 3D solid models, 2D drawings, BOMs, ECOs, and specifications.
Coordinate with customers and vendors to meet project objectives.
Work with SAP, Pro-E, and other software to manage projects.
Provide hands-on lab or manufacturing support when needed.
