Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore is seeking an Executive Engineer/Engineer for Mechanical Services (Rail) to provide design and engineering support for railway, road tunnel and bus infrastructures. You will contribute to technical studies, investigations, and research while upholding high engineering standards across multiple mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
• Senior Engineer: at least 5 years of experience in design and supervision of mechanical systems/services.
• Executive Engineer: at least 2 years of experience in design and supervision of mechanical systems/services.
• Candidates without working experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Upkeeping engineering standards, design criteria, performance specifications and technical requirements for air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, fire protection systems, plumbing, sanitary and water services, tunnel ventilation system, lifts and escalators, etc.
• Preparation and evaluation of tenders, review of design submissions by consultants and contractors, site supervision, testing and commissioning.
