Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Design) to lead the full mechanical design lifecycle on large-scale pharmaceutical projects.

You will oversee concept development, tendering, detailed design, construction support, commissioning, and final delivery, ensuring technical quality and client satisfaction. You will mentor engineers, review designs, manage tenders and technical evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical Engineering; Diploma holders with relevant experience may be considered.
• 10–15 years of mechanical engineering experience in consultancy, EPC, design-and-build, or major projects.
• Direct experience in Pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong design, review, tendering, construction support, and commissioning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed design of mechanical systems for large, complex projects.
• Develop design solutions considering performance, constructability, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
• Prepare preliminary budgets and cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Review and manage mechanical tender documentation, clarifications, and evaluations.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning.
