Job summary

Exyte Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead design development and coordination for mechanical systems in line with tender documents and the Design Checklist.

The role chairs Sub-contractor progress meetings and weekly Mechanical Department Client meetings, mentors junior engineers, and ensures field drawings and scope briefs are current and aligned with project revisions. In the absence of a Project Lead Engineer, the Senior Engineer assumes Lead Engineer responsibilities to

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of design and construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Progress the design in accordance with the Design Checklist.
• Chair Sub-contractor progress meetings.
• Chair Mechanical Department Client weekly meetings.
• Liaise with Quality Assurance / Quality Compliance Engineers to ensure alignment with the specification.
• Mentor an Engineer with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to support company expansion.
• Ensure each System Supervisor has current and applicable shop and space management drawings.
• Ensure the System Supervisor is fully briefed on the awarded scope of work, tender technical documents and all contractual revisions.
• In the absence of a Project based Lead Engineer, the Senior Engineer shall assume Lead Engineer responsibilities.
