Job summary

CANDIDATEASIA GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site Mechanical Project Engineer to manage assigned mechanical engineering and construction packages from planning through completion.

You will review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, coordinating design requirements with consultants, vendors, and subcontractors. You will supervise installation, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, while addressing technical and coordination issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned mechanical engineering and construction packages from planning through completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, material submissions, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate design requirements with consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
• Supervise mechanical installation and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and subcontractor performance within the assigned scope.
• Identify technical, quality, and coordination issues and implement or recommend solutions.
• Support testing, commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting, and system handover.
• Review subcontractor work methods and provide technical direction on site.
• Maintain accurate progress, inspection, technical, and project records.
• Guide junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering and site execution practices.
